Meet the Co-Founders

Mary Moss

Who We Are - MMMary Moss, co–founder and partner, has directed the firm’s consulting relationship with many of the region’s most respected organizations. She manages the executive search work for moss+ross, and also specializes in development assessments, campaign feasibility studies and management, board retreats, and volunteer training.

Her fundraising career spanned nearly three decades at Duke University and three prominent Research Triangle schools where she was known as one of North Carolina’s leading independent school fundraisers. She stepped down in 2008 as associate head for institutional advancement at Saint Mary’s School, her high school alma mater, with responsibility for development, alumnae relations, and admissions. Prior to that, she was director of development at Ravenscroft School for 11 years and at Durham Academy for nearly five years.
