Lisa Brown
Lisa Brown has been in fundraising for her entire 18-year career in client services, major gifts, and non-profit management. She particularly enjoys the new technology fundraising methods that social media and web efforts present, as well as general annual fund and campaign planning and implementation. Lisa received an undergraduate degree in art history and political science from Emory University in 1990.

 

Kim Glenn
Kim has worked in fundraising for over seven years and specializes in the areas of donor identification and research, prospect management, proposal writing, and board development.  She spent the majority of her career at Duke University where she was director of prospect research and University of Louisville where she was director of development for the College of Business.  She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.

 

Kate Hearne
Kate Hearne has been in fundraising for six years, with the bulk of her career at Coxe Curry & Associates, Atlanta’s premier fundraising consulting firm. Kate excelled in managing some of the firm’s largest clients, and her management strengths include both the planning and execution of capital and endowment campaigns from concept to completion. She is a graduate of Davidson College.

Erica Hill
Erica Hill has over 12 years of fundraising and public relations experience, having worked in corporate communications, gift planning, annual fund and major gifts. She specializes in communications strategies, annual fund and major gifts planning, and volunteer management. Erica graduated with a bachelor of arts in public policy studies from Duke University.

 

Noel James
Noel James has twenty years of experience in project management, program development and special events for cities, colleges and community organizations. Known for taking a creative and innovative approach with the underlying belief of the power of the arts to bring people together in positive, constructive and harmonious ways.  Noel received her undergraduate degree in business administration and communications from University of Minnesota.

 

Fred Stang
Fred Stang’s three decades of service to the Triangle community has taken him from working with families in crisis to promoting philanthropy for the common good. For the last 18 years he has concentrated on fundraising and philanthropic fund development, most recently at the Triangle Community Foundation. Fred graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1977 with a BA in Psychology, and holds a Master of Social Work degree from UNC.

 

Denise Tolley
Denise Tolley has been a writer for more than 25 years, specializing in advertising and marketing copywriting for businesses. Between agency work and freelance jobs, Denise has written copy for over 120 different clients, from local businesses to publications and nonprofits. Denise has a degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.

 

Beth Williamson
Beth Williamson joined moss+ross in 2011 after many years as a professional and volunteer fundraiser.  Drawing on her deep knowledge of the Raleigh community, Beth has expertise in volunteer leadership, governance, and campaign management.  A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Beth began her career as a consultant with Capital Development, then worked in banking before taking some time to raise her children and work in the community.
